Upland Bird Hunts and Pricing

A hunting license is required. Permits can be purchased in advance on the Nebraska Game & Parks website. Nonresident two-day CSA hunting licenses can be purchased at Camp George for $18. Habitat stamps are also required and can also be purchased at Camp George for $25. This is quite a savings compared to the nonresidential hunting permit.

Dogs: Hunters will need a dog. If you do not have a dog, a dog and handler can be provided for you with advance notice.

Live Birds: We also have live birds for sale.

Hunting Dates: Hunting dates are September 1 through April 15.


Package 1:

All-day hunt with six pheasants and three chukars = $160

Package 2:

All-day hunt with six pheasants and four quail = $150

Package 3:

All-day hunt with seven pheasants, five quail, and five chukars = $230

Youth Hunts:

Hunts for youth ages 16 and under are discounted by 25%.

Additional Birds:

Additional birds can be released. Prices are $20 for pheasants, $15 for chukars, and $10 for quail.
